{"id":607,"date":"2018-02-06T10:00:49","date_gmt":"2018-02-06T10:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/?p=607"},"modified":"2018-02-05T22:50:39","modified_gmt":"2018-02-05T22:50:39","slug":"lakeland-waterfall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/?p=607","title":{"rendered":"Lakeland Waterfall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is one I did earlier &#8211; about ten years ago!\u00a0 I was decidedly chuffed with it at the time and the years have not diminished my chuffedness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-609\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall-197x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"197\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall-197x300.jpg 197w, https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall-98x150.jpg 98w, https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall-671x1024.jpg 671w, https:\/\/blog.williamsonfineart.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lakeland-waterfall.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 197px) 85vw, 197px\" \/><\/a>There is absolutely no back or middle ground here; all is foreground.\u00a0 It was a rather small waterfall, which you can judge by looking at the leaves of the sapling on the left of the picture.\u00a0 There are so many differing textures , mosses, shrubs, rocks, grasses and water, both still and moving.\u00a0 I had a field day didn&#8217;t I?\u00a0 The red-browns and oranges are working their spells on the greens and blues, but are totally outclassed by the moving water.<\/p>\n<p>My eye goes to the flat rock bearing the brunt of the fall, then follows the crack in the rock to the bushes above.\u00a0 These curve over the fall where the topmost leaves of the sapling help the journey down to the stream.\u00a0 Sometimes the trip is in the reverse order &#8211; and I just love the way the waterfall curves to the right in a series of miniature falls.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is one I did earlier &#8211; about ten years ago!\u00a0 I was decidedly chuffed with it at the time and the years have not diminished my chuffedness.
